Advanced Unfunded Flu Vaccines 2025

We have two unfunded advanced flu vaccines to offer our patients this year as an alternative choice to our Influvac Tetra funded vaccine.

FLUAD Influenza Vaccine for patients 65 and over

  • Longer protection -Antibody levels are higher at 12 months post vaccination, compared with the standard flu vaccine.
  • Less chance of contracting the flu, compared with the standard flu vaccine.
  • Lower risk of needing medical treatment for flu related complications, compared with the standard flu vaccine.

FLUCELVAX Influenza Vaccine for patients 6 months and over

  • Flucelvax is designed to be an exact match to the flu strains that are circulating this year.
  • Flucelvax has been shown to be up to 19% more effective than standard influenza vaccines at protecting you from the flu.
